In the dynamic world of digital art and photo editing, Photoshop remains the cornerstone for creatives worldwide. Yet, even with its vast array of tools and features, there’s always room for enhancement to streamline the creative process. Enter the innovative PiX Plugin for Photoshop, which has recently undergone updates that push the boundaries of what’s possible within the software, particularly with the Gen-Fill feature. Let’s dive into these exciting new developments and explore how they can elevate your Photoshop experience.
Breaking Through Gen-Fill’s Resolution Limit
A notable hiccup for Photoshop enthusiasts has been the resolution limit associated with the Gen-Fill feature. Traditionally capped at around 1,000 by 1,000 pixels, this restriction posed a challenge for extending photos without a noticeable quality disparity. However, the latest update to the PiX Plugin has introduced a groundbreaking solution. By incorporating a script that generates areas piece by piece—each up to 500 by 500 pixels or even 1,000 by 1,000 pixels—users can now achieve much higher resolutions. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for both extending images and filling in areas internally, without being limited to square and rectangular shapes. With this update, any form, no matter how curvy, squiggly, or random, can be filled seamlessly.
Installation and Accessibility
For those eager to leverage this feature, the process is straightforward. The necessary script comes free with the PiX Plugin, underscoring the developers’ commitment to enhancing user experience without additional costs. Installation guides are readily available, ensuring users can quickly set up and dive into the vast possibilities this feature presents.
Quality That Speaks Volumes
The true marvel of this update lies in its impeccable attention to quality. Even upon close inspection, the filled areas blend seamlessly with the original parts of the image, maintaining consistent resolution and sharpness. This advancement signifies a leap forward in solving the persistent issue of quality degradation when manipulating images.
Effortless User Interface
Navigating through the plugin’s features has never been easier, thanks to a cleaner section management system. Users can now toggle between different tool sections with ease, ensuring a smoother workflow. Whether you’re focusing on arrangement, perspective, or chroma key, the interface allows for a tailored experience by displaying only the sections you need, without clutter.
Smart Objects Just Got Smarter
The update introduces an ingenious way to handle RAW photos as smart objects, allowing for non-destructive edits that users can modify anytime. This feature is particularly useful for those who wish to experiment with different adjustments without permanently altering the original image data.
Enhancements Across the Board
Beyond the highlighted Gen-Fill improvement, the plugin boasts a plethora of other updates aimed at refining the user experience. From improved green screen removal to smarter selection algorithms, every tweak and enhancement contributes to a more intuitive and powerful Photoshop journey.
For creative professionals and enthusiasts alike, staying abreast of the latest tools and features is pivotal. Platforms like Luminar Neo, Placeit, Dealjumbo, Envato Elements, and GraphicRiver offer a wealth of resources that complement the capabilities of Photoshop and the PiX Plugin. Whether you’re looking for unique graphic templates, stock images, or innovative design tools, these platforms can significantly enrich your creative projects.
In conclusion, the PiX Plugin for Photoshop, with its latest updates, epitomizes the blend of innovation and practicality. By breaking through the Gen-Fill resolution limit and introducing user-friendly enhancements, it sets a new standard for what we can achieve in Photoshop. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a passionate enthusiast, these updates open up a new realm of possibilities for your creative projects.

Please create an independent installer for your plugin, to be honest, I am not willing to pay a monthly fee to Adobe, as I do not use the software professionally, but I am willing to pay for the lifetime license of your plugin, just I can't do it without having Creative Cloud.
@gaursunder
Looking sharp bro!!
@chrishughes9112
Brilliant, but will definitely test my little grey cells.
@MrAllanmontayre
You are heaven sent!
@blakdavisboy
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@BROADCASTBBQ
Since Adobe now charges credits for Generative fill, does using your tool use more credits since it is generating more images per selection?
@DrejcD
THANK YOU for the upgrade and keeping it free, from the bottom of the heart. 🙏🖤🙏
@ndk2k4

@marvlong5300
Is there a tutorial for all the options in the plug in?
@PeteLabrozzi
Adobe should hire you.
@ThePieGuy731
I saw a tooltip while gen ai was generating one time that said something along the lines of "like a generation but notice that it's blurry? Under the three dot menu on the generation click 'enhance generation' to regenerate at a higher resolution" they said it in a better way but it looks like that might be coming in a future beta update.
@jimavery3211
Is this compatible with that mask intensity trick in quick mode to create the illusion of lower gen fill opacity?
@larsmichael7162
does your plugin also deal with the (lack of) noise in the generated areas?
@JustARandomFio
TBH, I'm not a huge fan of Adobe's Generative Fill. The results just don't meet my quality expectations, and IMO, they could do better as the big and well-fed dinosaur they are. Your tool, however, looks as top-notch as your channel and the pricing for the whole bundle is more than fair. Your annual subscription is on my purchase list this month. Keep up your great job – a veteran graphic designer and digital composite artist. Edit: spelling.
@IshmaelW
I retract my previous comment, it works fine now. I just had to restart my computer after the update
@donaldmfalls
Smart Update!!
@AndyTechGo
this is awesome, but there's no way to use this with generative prompts?
@bluejokenstewart
Is there a "love" button? I don't think "Like" justifies how awesome this is!
@brentccochran123
Amazing! You the Man!!!
@jayeshtopiwala3219
Hard to express it in words, Excellent.
@marklutnes935
These are great upgrades. I love it when before an upgrade I didn't imagine something could make my life better but after the upgrade I wonder how I ever lived without it. There are several like that here. Thank you so much!
@lastpreacher9093
How do I download this Pix Plug-in?

@JohnSullivansChannel
Thank you. Cheers.
@gianmariozucconi3242
Well done, everything always works out perfect for you, in my case with a similar image, it creates unwanted objects within the selection…
@pete292
Absolute genius. Grateful for everything you do 🙏
@daemon1143
Does the remove tool have a similar resolution limitation to the generative fill tool? By the way, I love the pop up tool tips. I hate complicated plug-ins that don't have tool tips.
@guylundstrom1012
Does this Hi res Generative fill still look as good when this is printed? or does it show up there? It looks great and thank you for all you do
@okidoke4822
"Look at the quality of this rock." lol love it.
@ronj218

@m.anneblack2908
Unmesh – You are a genius ! Also, you can solve problems that really need to be solved😊😊😊
@razu5528
Composite was very useful for me but now it has to be bought with money which I don't have. now i can't use this 😢.
@banditalley9592
I think this is how Adobe should have built it – congratulations on doing their job for them!
@Radiostate101
Greetings! Your plugin is amazing! But there is a question – how much does Photoshop generate per month by subscription and how much does your plugin use? How quickly will they end?
@ralphbrok1647
Unfortunately it doesnt install because the plugin isn't compatible. Is there a work around to still be able to use/install it?
@davidadshade594
Thanks! 🙏🏼
@lawerfernandes4688
Thanks for the amazing upgrade!
@huexley
Thank you so much !
